The numbers you type never leave your device. Advertising and analytics, which pay for the site, do collect data — this page says exactly what, and how to switch it off.

Who runs this site
UnitConverter (https://unitconverterone.com) is an independent site operated by Akash Yadav. For any privacy question, including a request to exercise the rights described below, email [email protected] or use the contact page. Privacy requests are answered within 30 days.
Your conversions stay in your browser
Every calculation runs in JavaScript on your own device. The value you type into a converter is never transmitted to us, never written to a server log and never stored. There are no accounts, no sign-up and no newsletter, so we hold no name, email address or password for you.
What is collected, and by whom
We operate no database of our own. Three third parties process data when you visit, each for one purpose:

We never sell personal information, and we never combine these sources into a profile of an individual visitor. What we look at is aggregate: which pages are popular, and which are broken.
Advertising and cookies
This site is a Google AdSense publisher, account ca-pub-8993496699077383. As Google
requires every AdSense publisher to disclose:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this and other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices and optout.networkadvertising.org.
- Where ads are served without personalisation, cookies may still be used for frequency capping, aggregated ad reporting and fraud prevention.
The cookie policy lists the individual cookies, what each one does and how long it lasts.
Consent in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland
For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, this site's code sets the Consent Mode defaults for advertising and analytics storage, ad user data and ad personalisation to denied. Denied storage prevents consent-aware Google tags from reading or writing the related cookies, but it does not stop all data from reaching Google: tags may still send cookieless measurement pings, as described above. A default signal is not a choice from you, and this site's code does not itself show a consent dialog or record a preference. If programmatic limited ads are enabled, Google may also use invalid-traffic-only cookies or local storage for fraud prevention; see Google's limited ads guidance.
Google can display a consent message when the publisher enables one in AdSense Privacy & messaging. That account setting is outside this site's code and was not verifiable during this review. If a Google message appears, use it to set or change your choice. If it does not appear, this site has no on-page control for granting or withdrawing a preference; contact us at [email protected]. You may also exercise your rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, request data portability, or complain to your national data protection authority.
If you are in California
Under the CCPA and CPRA you may ask which categories of personal information are collected, ask for them to be deleted, and opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. To submit a request to opt out of sale or sharing, email [email protected]. Google Ads Settings controls Google's personalised advertising for your Google account; it is not a site-wide opt-out request. You will never be treated differently for exercising these rights.
Children
This is a general-audience reference tool, not a site directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, email [email protected] and it will be deleted.
How long data is kept
We keep nothing ourselves. Google Analytics data on this property is retained for 14 months and then deleted automatically. Google’s advertising cookies expire on their own schedule, set out in the cookie policy. Cloudflare’s security logs are short-lived and governed by Cloudflare’s own policy.

Pages here link to standards bodies, reference sources and Google’s own controls, and an ad may link anywhere. Once you follow a link you are on someone else’s site, under their privacy policy rather than this one.
Changes to this policy
If what is collected changes, this page is updated before the change goes live and the date at the top moves with it.
